Meet Mempho: 3 Reasons to Attend Year 3

Strategy

While there are a million reasons to attend the third annual Mempho Music Festival in Memphis, Tennessee, we’ve made it easy and narrowed it down to the top three.

1. Line-Up

Headlining this year’s festival on Saturday night will be the Raconteurs, fronted by Jack White with Sunday’s headliner being Grammy Award-winning Brandi Carlile. In addition to these a-list acts, attendees can catch The Revivalists and Wu-Tang Clan, among others. And to ensure you don’t miss a performance, the Mempho Musical Festival app will include a feature where attendees can connect their credit card to the app and then order and pay for food and drinks, go to the vendor they order from and pick it up right away.

2. Location

Taking place at Shelby Farms Park– one of the largest urban parks in America – this festival provides the opportunity to explore 4,500 acres of green space full of lakes, lawns, and trails (plus ziplines, ropes courses, and more). This also meals that you can valet your bikes should you arrive on two wheels. Within the festival area, you’ll be surrounded by three live music stages, food and art bazaars (plus creative installations by local artists), and the Incendia Fire Dome, which manipulates flames to create a mesmerizing glow.

3. Logistics

Parking has been revamped for 2019, allowing attendees closer access to the stages – and guests will be allowed to exit and reenter the festival. For those leaving using Uber and Lyft, there will be a designated area for pickups through ride-hailing apps. Better lighting, along with signage and visual enhancements, will help attendees get to their cars quicker. Attendees will also be able to bring in blankets, chairs, and hammocks to make for a more comfortable experience.
