2023 Annual Leadership Conference

For the first time since the pandemic, Mid-America Apartment Communities held their Annual Leadership Conference face-to-face, with the help of their long-standing partner – LEO Events. MAA turns to LEO again and again to deliver the highest quality, meetings, and events.

In 2023, LEO invited MAA’s leaders to encounter Memphis in a new way, and elevated the event through personalized details, immersive theming and décor, and flawless execution.

From registration to travel to lodging, LEO handled it all. Attendees easily navigated the many aspects of their experience thanks to our event app, which would create detailed agendas for each person. It also allowed attendees to interact through a social wall and track their learning with QR code scanning at breakouts. Furthermore, LEO implemented comprehensive data protection throughout the show. The security customer data is paramount, especially when crafting very personalized events. From start to finish, personal information was safeguarded in a variety of ways so that only those who needed it could see it, keeping valuable data safely within the circle of need-to-know.

From “go” at the Taste of Memphis welcome party until every attendee had boarded a flight home, LEO crafted a conference that would leave a lasting impact, encouraging and connecting MAA’s leaders to tackle all the challenges of the year ahead.
