2022 National Sales Meeting
Reunion
Kowa Pharmaceuticals America partnered with LEO Events to produce its National Sales Meeting for the seventh consecutive year. Held in San Antonio, the 2022 meeting featured Southwestern motifs and included general sessions, breakouts, recognition, and offsite events that were programmed to engage, educate, and celebrate the Kowa salesforce.
Each year, LEO Events works with Kowa to build a creative direction for the annual NSM. In 2022, the company chose a “Reunion” theme, as it was the first time since 2020 that the company has been able to gather its sales team in person.
Kowa’s mission to provide effective healthcare solutions for cardiometabolic diseases is the guiding principle for the company’s National Sales Meeting. While the event objective to engage, educate, and celebrate has remained the same over the years, Kowa had a unique goal for the 2022 meeting.
The pharmaceutical company recently rolled out an acute pain management medicine, and the meeting needed to provide them with the traditional aspects of a product launch while supporting onsite training and certification achievement. The success rate of the product training was a central goal while ensuring the overall meeting was engaging and enjoyable.
LEO also produced a series of awards programs, honoring Kowa’s President’s Achievement Award, Circle of Excellence, and Rookie of the Year. To modernize the 2022 experience, LEO used vibrant, engaging imagery on a stage-wide screen to provide an immersive look and feel, elevating the theme through video media and branded content.
With many new field employees and new leadership, Kowa trusted LEO to produce a turnkey event with solutions for audience journey, creative direction, and all aspects of production from start to finish.

2021 National Sales Meeting
The Future is Bright
Kowa Pharmaceuticals America partnered with LEO Events for the sixth consecutive year to produce its National Sales Meeting. Kowa’s 2021 NSM, aptly named “The Future is Bright,” served as the first opportunity for the company to address its sales team in over a year, and like many other pandemic-era events, was held virtually. The half-day virtual event featured a movie theater theme with a live, four-hour show, including multiple award presentations and General Session(s).
Companies are looking for increased engagement and intentional, meaningful ways to host virtual and hybrid events while maintaining high-level production value. Similarly, attendees want to experience the emotion and feel the energy of live recognition ceremonies across virtual platforms.

2020 National Sales Meeting
Building the Future
Kowa Pharmaceuticals America united with LEO Events for the fifth year in a row to educate and celebrate its entire sales force during their annual National Sales Meeting. The theme for the 2020 NSM, “Building the Future,” served as the compass for all scenic expression from registration to environmental and on-screen graphics used throughout the event. The theme left a lasting impact, turning into a mantra for the sales force moving forward. Kowa Pharmaceuticals America united with LEO Events for the fourth year in a row to engage, educate, and celebrate its entire sales force at the 2019 National Sales Meeting. The theme for the 2019 NSM, “Engage and Elevate,” served as the compass for the conference, as guests were immersed in a Top Gun–inspired experience that included all of the necessary education and knowledge the meeting required. San Diego proved to be the perfect location, as it was where the iconic movie was filmed.
