Defying Expectation 

The founders of KAABOO, an annual music festival that started in Del Mar, California, in 2015, aspired to create a festival that was like no others produced before, one that would appeal to a demographic they felt was being overlooked. The founders turned to LEO Events to stage this first-time festival that included an artist lineup comparable to other top-tier festivals across the nation. With KAABOO, everyone could find appealing elements through a sensory-fueled festival experience that brings music, food, arts, comedy, technology, and personal indulgences together. After an immensely successful three years, KAABOO expanded to two additional events: one in the Grand Cayman Islands, representing the franchise’s first international location, and one at AT&T Stadium, creating a partnership between Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and KAABOO.

LEO Events continues to serve as a proud partner and investor by:

  • Developing the “vibe” and executing a VIP experience for every person who walks through the gates of KAABOO
  • Overseeing all food and beverage operations, including bar operations, concessionaires, restaurateurs, hospitality, and catering
  • Managing all production elements, including staging, audio, production/environmental lighting, LED, video, scenic, and more, as well as all artist advancing and communication
  • Leading the innovation initiatives for the KAABOO company and events with projects that include new implementations to enhance the KAABOO audience experience, operational technology integrations, and strategy and assessment studies for new events
