Ryan Seacrest, an iconic media personality and philanthropist, builds media studios within pediatric hospitals. At each Seacrest Studio, patients explore the creative realms of radio, television, and new media. To mark the opening of a new Seacrest Studios at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, LEO Events produced their celebration.
Our delight in producing this event was matched by the enthusiasm of the patients at Le Bonheur. A crowd favorite activity was the patient parade, patients wheeled in wagons along a red carpet, each decorated like one of Memphis’ most iconic attractions. The parade concluded at Seacrest Studio, where Ryan Seacrest himself welcomed the procession.
LEO took every measure to ensure that each patient at Le Bonheur could participate in the celebration, regardless of their health or ability. In addition to watching a livestream of the event from their rooms, patients were also invited to call into a live radio broadcast and participate in a celebrity interview, featuring NBA star Jaren Jackson Jr., actress Kat Graham, and singer-songwriter Jordan Davis.
Seacrest Studios is a place for the children of Le Bonheur to dance, play, and explore the world of media broadcasting. The Studios’ Grand Opening perfectly reflected this goal by focusing on and prioritizing the hospital’s patients.
