If Cindy is running serpentine patterns around parked cars in the Sam’s Club parking lot, it must be February. If she’s running circles around her competition, well then it’s just any given day of the week.
In one scenario, she’s engaging in an annual, month-long game of Adult Tag. In the other, she’s creating extraordinary experiences the way she’s done for over 25 years.
As co-founder of LEO Events, Cindy has spent her career leading clients – and this industry – in one awe-inspiring event after another. Her passion and drive for telling her clients’ stories was evident as early as her University of Tennessee days, where she served as the anchor for WUTK her senior year. And those traits have served her well as she’s grown a world-class events business, having recently been named to Smart Meetings Magazine’s Smart Woman Top 100.
But perhaps her most satisfying accomplishment to date is as co-founder and chair, with her husband Kevin, of the Jay Uiberall Foundation, which supports a number of nonprofit organizations committed to improving the lives of those less fortunate in the community – many of whom work in the hospitality business.
In her downtime (wink-wink), Cindy supports Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and runs in the St. Jude Memphis Marathon (she’s a halfer), grows her own herbs and veggies and skis in Montana – you know, all that uber-relaxing stuff. She is the proud wife and mother of three WWE fans. Turns out, the love of a good show runs in the family.
